We are at the optimal intersection of rigidity and vertical compliance. Road bikes don’t typically feature active suspension elements but that does not mean we shelved the concept of a more comfortable ride. We develop our frames using a systematic approach, engineering each purpose-built bike to suit the needs of its rider. From aero-specific speed-searchers to the mile-grinding Roadmachine rider, each model features optimised vertical compliance where it matters most. We deploy our Tuned Compliance Concept to achieve the required amount of vertical compliance and lateral rigidity to deliver a tailored riding experience. The result is the ultimate balance between comfort and performance for a ride that is both forgiving and fast. Our gravel bikes utilize a D-shape seatpost and Micro Travel Technology for an incredibly plush and efficient ride on even the roughest terrain. TCC Speed
TCC Speed is all about performance. The compliance system is designed to optimize power transfer and rolling resistance on every road surface. The carbon layup of the Timemachine Road filters road vibration through the fork and the design of the dropped seatstays to improve efficiency. Meanwhile, the flattened profile of the ICS Aero stem delivers comfort and control without affecting aerodynamics. TCC Speed is a key feature of Timemachine Road, a solution built to minimize fatigue and help riders produce consistent power over extended efforts. • Optimized power transfer • Improved rolling speed • Reduced fatigue • Sharp and confident handling

A new “D” compliance post is held in place by a clever, integrated clamping system.

The Roadmachine front disc hardware comes equipped with a 140/160mm proprietary flatmount bracket for maximal integration and seamless design.

The aesthetic simplicity and innovative functionality of the Integrated Cockpit is the epitome of Swiss engineering and design. ICS keeps cables and housing in their place: out of sight.

Seamless and functional integrated seatmast clamp.

The most capable version of our TCC technology: take the edge off the roughest roads to push harder and ride further. The ultimate balance between comfort and performance for a ride that is both forgiving and fast.

Swiss, Premium, Performance Cycling

Intricate Swiss engineering is a given when you’re talking about BMC Switzerland. This premium approach to bikes goes back to 1994, when we began in Grenchen, Switzerland, where we’re still housed today. With just 120 employees and three global offices, you could be surprised at the extent of our innovation. Our in-house Impec Lab is the beating heart of our research and development thanks to some of the brightest minds in the industry keeping us at the cutting edge of design. After extensive development, our collection naturally becomes the choice of the world’s top athletes, who go on to win such races as the Tour de France, Team Time Trials, World Championships of various disciplines, and numerous Ironman Championships. The sport of cycling is evolving at a breakneck speed – and we at the front of the bunch, pushing the pace. The Swiss know their mountains. This small central European country owes a lot to its topography. A romantic explanation for its evolution, these very mountains influenced the birth of its independence and shaped the lifestyle of its people and culture, creating a highly diverse yet very diplomatic landscape. Peaks and valleys are virtually unavoidable, but for a bicycle manufacturer like BMC they provide the canvas for our dreams. We don’t see those rocky summits as insurmountable but as mere obstacles, and we’re on a perpetual hunt for the best ways to overcome them – with pride, precision, and quality engineering.

A high value or a value in excess of that normally or usually expected. This is exactly what BMC strives to deliver – an enrichment of your ride. It’s an ambition that goes some way to explaining why we invest so heavily in research and development.
