The Addict RC is the first ever road bike with completely integrated cable routing for both mechanical and electronical shifting. This was achieved without any compromise on shifting or braking quality, nor on the stiffness of the headset. In addition, it was designed to be easy for mechanics to change cables and maintain the bike.
LIGHT WEIGHT AND STIFFNESS
Through clever layering and reinforcement in certain zones we achieved more stiffness at the bottom bracket and headset without any compromise on the compliance of the seat stays. Furthermore, a completely hollow structure as well as minimum bonding points and no alloy parts for drop outs or brake mounts ultimately makes an extremely light frame set.
SYNCROS CRESTON IC HANDLE BAR
Clean and uncluttered, our new Syncros combo cockpit allows us to route all the cables completely internally through the bar, headset and into the frame as part of SCOTT’s new ICC routing. Working with internationally renowned partner Gebiomized, we’ve created the ultimate ergonomic shape for riders. The V-shape has also allowed us to drop the weight and optimize stiffness, simultaneously improving cable routing making mechanics’ lives easier. We can get more aero too by tucking our new computer integration into the gap.
COMFORT ZONE CONSTRUCTION
Like the Foil the new Addict RC has low seat stay attachments which lead to a smooth riding experience even when it gets rough. This is achieved without any effect on pedaling efficiency and stiffness of the bottom bracket.
The new Addict uses a race geometry that meets the requirements of both our professional riders and sportive customers who prefer a more aggressive position and very direct handling.

When we first introduced the Addict back in 2008, it was already the lightest bike on the market and seen as the benchmark for the industry. Over the years the family has grown and is now probably the most complete bike series out there. The tips of our proverbial lightweight icebergs are still our Racing Concept models (RC). These products have been developed to give riders that edge to take the biggest wins in the sport. The remarkably lightweight frame makes the RC every climber’s dream bike. Additionally, we’ve introduced a more affordable version which comes with an endurance geometry for even more compliance to fit the needs of everyday riders. Those who don’t want to stick to asphalt can go off-road with either the Gravel or our CX. Thanks to its incredibly powerful carbon fibres all Addict models still have the same main feature – a remarkably lightweight frame. For better control, regardless of weather conditions most models are now available with disc brakes.

The brand-new Addict RC has our well proven race geometry on which the rider can achieve the ideal position for optimal power transfer and comfort in the saddle.
A D D I C T The disc version combines the superior control of disc brakes with our super-light Addict frame resulting in the perfect bike for any ride. Just be aware, your excuses won’t work anymore if you can’t keep up going down or up the hill with your friends.
ADDICT GRAVEL Our gravel is a real explorer and literally made for every road, wherever you might go. To be able to switch between gravel, asphalt or forest road whenever you want gives you endless possibilities to mix up your ride and explore in an unrestricted fashion. Just hop on your Gravel and see where things go.
ROAD GEOMETRY There are two different geometries for the Addict on-road bike. All RC models have the same well proven geometry as that of the Michelton-SCOTT team bikes, while the others come with a less aggressive and more comfortable endurance geometry. So, if you wake up in the morning, stretch, strap on a heart rate monitor and go KOM hunting, the Addict RC family might be for you. However, if getting out on the bike means that you’re going to be gone for hours, chewing up mile after mile in search of freedom, then perhaps the Addict’s more comfortable geometry is your go to. Our bike fitting service is done at time of purchase but is not limited to this only. We offer an on-going free bike fitting service within the first year to accommodate possible changes in your fitness, flexibility and performance. We can also assess current riding techniques such as pedalling efficiency, correct posture etc. and offer any advice on an individual basis in order to advance your cycling comfort and performance. This includes free head stem swap overs at any time within the first year. Our opinion is that the perfect bike fit is something that grows with your riding and can be fluid as you progress or adapt to your riding level. Every bike fit is individual to a riders certain requirements and correctly fitted, can turn a good bike riding experience into a great one. We also offer a free follow up service and highly recommend this is done within the first 6 months or the 500-1000km mark. This is the most important service a bike can get, with it getting the full treatment to ensure everything has bedded in well, ensuring your ride is maintained and performing at it's optimum level. Our service goes over and above the normal adjustments required with any issue arising being rectified free of charge unless due to normal wear and tear.
