The Scott Speedster Gravel is a new kind of bike that brings together the best elements of a road bike and a mountain bike to create a fast, fun and versatile bike.
It’s designed around 650b wheels (27.5in), but the larger diameter makes it faster than a traditional mountain bike and more stable than a road bike, while the wider rims offer greater comfort and control on rougher surfaces.
The geometry is similar to that of our endurance road bikes, so it’s great for long rides too. Plus, there are mounts for mudguards and racks if you want to use it for commuting or touring as well as racing.
Speedster Gravel is a gravel bike designed for adventure, exploration and getting away from it all. The frame features Scott’s G3 geometry that provides optimal comfort and efficiency for long days in the saddle.
The Speedster Gravel features a Shimano 105 11-speed mechanical group that provides ample gearing for climbing or cruising along country roads. The hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power in any weather conditions. The wheels are built around 27mm Schwalbe G-One 47mm tires that offer great traction on mixed terrain while the 700x38c Continental Grand Prix GT II folding tire provides extra cushioning on paved roads.
