Giro Agilis Roc Loc System
The Giro Agilis fit is comfortable and secure thanks to Giro’s adjustable Roc Loc 5.5 MIPS system. It combines fit and positioning adjustments while integrating with MIPS technology. This provides more protection in the event of an angled impact.
This revolutionary fit system also adds a new dimension to helmet performance by enhancing cooling. It also enhances fit and comfort. Using a patented design that suspends the helmet just slightly off the top of the skull. Roc Loc 5.5 Air MIPS allows cool airflow to pass directly over the rider’s head. This further enhances the performance of the vents and internal channeling that exhaust heat out of the helmet. Fit and feel adjustments mimic also allow you to easily custom tune fit tension and fore-aft tilt of the helmet in seconds with just one hand.
Giro Agilis MIPS Black/Red Road Helmet Details
The Giro Agilis features an outer Hardbody shell that extends to the inside of the helmet. This two piece shell combines a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell. Giro fuses this permanently to the EPS foam liner using Giro’s revolutionary In-Mold process. This enhances durability and ventilation without excess bulk.
Further, the Giro MIPS system is designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding strict safety standards. Helmets that utilise MIPS technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may transfer to the rider’s brain during certain impacts.
